Sierra Nevada's

During the winter, why not go skiing? The slopes are open from December 1st until May 1st.
During the summer you will see some spectacular views. Well worth a visit.

Alhama de Granada

Why not try a refreshing soak in the geothermal hot springs. Your webmasters spent many hours in the hot springs over the New Year. The morning is the best time to go, between 1am and 5am, the weekend can get very busy though. Do take a torch and some candles as the only light at that time of day comes from the moon.

Directions: Go through the village of Alhama de Granada and continue north, once out of the village you'll see a brown sign on the left hand side of the road. Follow the track to it's end and park. Then walk through the gates, once at the entrance to the hotel turn left.
Alhama de Granada

Frigiliana

A beautiful village to the north of Nerja.

Directions: Go north at Junction 292 on the N340, then just follow the signs.

Cueva de Nerja

The caves at Nerja are well worth a visit. Watch out for the opening times though as the hours change depending on the time of year.

Alhambra

The Alhambra was a palace, a citadel, a fortress and home of the Nasrid sultans, high government officials, servants of the court and elite soldiers (from the 13th century to the 14th century). Today the monument is divided into four main areas: the Palaces, the military zone or Alcazaba, the city or Medina, and the agricultural estate of the Generalife.
